got back tonight from my three day freshman orientation at UCLA. a week before orientation, i was incredibly nervous and scared out of my butt for the three orientation days to come. honestly, i have no idea why i was so nervous, ask me today and i still won't have an answer for you. but getting to UCLA, living in Reiber Terrace for three days and two nights, staying out late at night, having dinner and walking around in Westwood, meeting a LOT of new people, touring the campus and art school, walking around and trecking up numerous hills and stairs, swiping my bruinID card at the dining halls and campus food services has been AMAZING. 

touring the Broad Art Center seriously got me so riled up and excited for the next four years to come because we toured through every department; ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, digital media, and the list goes on! the resources are out of this world and the professors seem like awesome, down to earth people who have the leisure of coming to work in jeans and a t-shirt.

i met a lot of cool and interesting people, too. since there are only 40 freshman in the art program, i'll definitely have the chance to meet and get to know everyone! YAY!
