I find the holiday season to have a strange effect on lots of people, including myself. We're all just a little happier around this time of the year, agreed? As December makes it's way through the year, we get through the last couple weeks of school, conquer and destroy our finals, and are finally let out for Winter break in the middle of the month. THAT'S when all the fun starts. Christmas time involves great holiday music, suddenly everyone decides to become pastry chefs and whips out all these crazy holiday pastries, cookies, and cakes. The weather becomes colder, out come the winter coats, boots, and scarves. And of course, most importantly, this time of year we can recognize and remember Jesus' birth and celebrate! Honestly, that's probably why most people feel happy around this time of year, just something that happens subconsciously, something we can't explain, something in the cosmos!
I love this time of year especially because we see old friends and have the chance to get reconnected; and all the decorated houses don't hurt either! It's just a happy time of year, can't really put it into words. Maybe if I were an English major or something...

agreeed! i love december and christmas time.
