i was reminded today how precious and thankful for our lives we should be. sometimes we get caught up in our daily routines, cycling through the same motions each day just for the sake of it. regretfully, we drive right by the little things that remain forgotten because we don't stop and open our eyes enough to see. and it seems everything these days revolves around how fast we can get somewhere or something done; high speed internet, 3G cell phone service, or the fastest shortcut from class back to the dorm. with everything 'full speed ahead', how can we stop and notice the slightest fingerprints of our Maker?
life is meant to be lived passionately, not to get lost in the "daily grind" of things. i think it's time that we learn to find excitement and passion even in the most mundane tasks. if you're given an opportunity of any sort, go for it! don't be scared and passive, hiding in your little corner because of the fear of rejection or failure.
live high, live mighty, live righteously.
