If you've never heard of the TED conferences, get yourself acquainted. TED (technology, entertainment, and design) conferences is a global set of conferences to share "ideas worth spreading". They invite a broad range of speakers to talk about research in science and culture and had their most recent TED2011 conference awarding prizes to those who "wish to change the world". This is where JR, a semi-anonymous French street artist comes in.
