music is the food of love

instead of doing any sort of work for school, i decided to write this blog entry. life has been throwing a bunch of curve balls at me and quite honestly, i don't really know what to do, but you do what you can. a lot of things have happened, things end, things begin, life goes on. 

recently i've had the awesome opportunity to play music with one of my best friends kate. we both play guitar, sing, and song write and i'm a little bummed that we haven't been able to combine forces until now. these days, we set aside last period and after school on wednesdays to play around on our guitars, sing, and hangout on the senior lawn. nothing could be more relaxing! we're definitely thinking about talent show and we're going to start co-writing some songs and hopefully performing them in little cafe's or what not! first stop: penelope's?

seriously though, all i've wanted to do for the past few weeks is play my guitar and write songs, there's nothing more satisfying and relaxing then to pick up that stringed wooden instrument and play around.
