i'm definitely not the type of person who likes to show her artwork.. and i guess that shouldn't be because art is food for the eyes so i decided to post up a few more things i've worked on during fall quarter's drawing class along with some of my favorite pieces from my portfolio.

these are all pretty bad quality cause i took them with my point and shoot camera but here you go!

this was one of our homework assignments last quarter. medium: charcoal, pastel, conte crayon, and graphite.
this was an in-class assignment where we had a huge still life in front of us and had to incorporate a found image from a national geographic magazine of our choice. medium: acrylic paint, pastel, oil stick, and charcoal.
another in-class assignment where we sat in front of a mini-still life and had to block out huge areas of color first and then add detail later. medium: charcoal and pastel.
this one is a really bad picture, i wish i had taken a better picture of it on the wall but this is my final piece for the class. a three-part drawing with a little gap in between pages 2 and 3 (it's hard to see because the ground is dark) incorporating some sort of foreign substance to use as a medium. medium: charcoal, graphite, coffee grounds, coffee stains.

now these are some of my favorite pieces from my portfolio to ucla:
"Shoe in Water". Photo
"Fallout". Photo of an entrance on the street in New York. Describes the current and almost ironic status of today's fallout shelters.
"Colors In Motion". Oil on Canvas.
"Ocean". Oil and Acrylic on Canvas.
"Log Pyramid". Installation. An installation piece in my backyard stressing the mimicry of the aluminum cylinders to the organic shape of the logs.

END.
