when in good company

i've found that you don't really need a lot to be happy. good company and a good attitude will always make for an amazing time. it's interesting that with those right people, you can talk about absolutely nothing for hours upon hours and have the best time. the hard part is finding and recognizing who those "right people" are, but i think that just comes naturally once you've met them. and most of the time, you find and meet those people in the most unexpected places and often times when you least expect it. it's hard to be a judge of someone's character these days because you just don't know who's being real and who's acting to please people. and it's also hard not to fall into the "people pleaser" category yourself just because the real world can be extremely daunting. but once you've found those people, it doesn't really matter where you are or what you talk about, you just KNOW that, "hey, i think i've found some of my life-long friends."

good company makes for a good time. be thankful that it only takes a little to be happy :)
