past

it's kind of amazing how at the most unexpected times, things of the past can come back and bite you in the butt. don't they call it the past for a reason? it should be called 'the past' and stay there. i don't know if this is something that God does to humble us or if it's just one of those misfortunate things in life but whatever it is and whatever the reason is, i don't like it.
